"The earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens."  Baha'u'llah

The profound changes in the world today require a new vision of the nature and purpose of religion.  Religion in the true sense enables people to develop spiritual qualities, create uplifting vision, and take courageous social action.  True spirituality enables diverse groups and communities to explore reality together and forge a common purpose.

"Baha'u'llah has drawn the circle of unity.  He has made a design for the uniting of all the peoples, and for the gathering of them all under the shelter of the tent of universal unity." -'Abdu'l-Baha

One Unfolding Religion

Throughout history God has sent Spiritual Educators to guide mankind: Zoroaster, Krishna, Moses, Buddha, Christ, Muhammad, and now Bahá’u’lláh. The Baha'i Faith is the latest chapter in humanity's spiritual evolution. It provides a blueprint for creating world peace, as well as inspiration for profound personal transformation.

"True religion is the source of love and agreement amongst men, the cause of the development of praiseworthy qualities;"

"The religion of God is for love and unity.  Make it not the cause of enmity or dissension "   Baha'u'llah

One Loving Creator

"The peoples of the world, of whatever religion, derive their inspiration from one heavenly Source, and are the subjects of one God."  Baha'u'llah

“. . . God, the unknowable Essence, the Divine Being, is immensely exalted beyond every human attribute, such as corporeal existence, ascent and descent, egress and regress.  Far be it from His glory that human tongue should adequately recount His praise, or that human heart comprehend his fathomless mystery.”

One Human Family

All of humanity is one human family. We are wonderfully diverse in culture and experience and we are one. Baha'i Writings liken us to a beautiful garden in which the uniqueness of each member enriches the beauty of the whole.  Acceptance of the oneness of humanity requires the abandonment of prejudices of all kinds—race, class, color, creed, religion, nation, gender, anything that enables people to feel superior to others.

"The world of humanity is like a garden and the various races are the flowers which constitute its adornment and decoration.... When you enter a rose garden the wealth of color and variety of floral forms spread before you a picture of wonder and beauty."
