Criteria:
Applicants are to submit the following:
An interview may be required.
Applicants must provide proof of acceptance to a post-secondary institution prior to award being granted. Payment will be made directly to that institution on behalf of the recipient. The student will have up to two years to use the funds.
The selection process will be completed by June 15th. Scholarship recipient will be notified directly thereafter.
The recipient will be asked to attend an Oak Bay Baha’i Community meeting to be recognized, and to provide a brief summary of their goals and objectives related to their area of study.

Criteria:
- Graduating Grade 12 student from Oak Bay High School
- Selection will be based on, but not limited to, (a) community service, (b) scholastic record, and (c) evidence of a global vision through travel and/or service in other countries or on behalf of international social development projects or organizations.

Applicants are to submit the following:
- A letter of application (cover letter, no standard format) providing name and contact information as well as the expected area of study to be undertaken along with the name of the post-secondary institution(s) to which the applicant has applied. This letter should also include a brief summary of the applicant’s aspirations and goals in obtaining a post-secondary education with emphasis on community service and leadership.
- A resume that outlines community service activities, leadership experiences, volunteer experiences, and other extra-curricular activities including clubs, groups and teams in which the applicant has participated, and evidence of a global vision, as described above.
- Two or three letters of reference from school or community (not relatives).
- A current transcript of marks.
